BIO
Born outside of Chicago, we moved to Virginia when I was 10. I was introduced to old time music via my parents and after quite a few years of playing electric guitar and Classical violin, I developed a passion for Bluegrass at the age of 20. Attended Merle Fest for the first time with a friend and upon arrival walked directly into a performance featuring Sam Bush, Jerry Douglass, Bela Fleck, and Tony Rice. Needless to say, I picked up a mandolin soon after and haven’t put it down since. I regularly travel with my band Love Canon playing 80’s pop tunes adapted to Bluegrass instrumentation and I also spend time performing in a variety of side projects.
