Piano and Voice Teacher
The Front Porch is currently seeking applicants for a Piano & Voice Teacher for group and private lesson instruction for children – adults! Ideal candidates would have the following skills/qualifications:
- Experience working with children ages 5 and above (required)
- Strong piano and vocal proficiency
- Familiarity with classical music and healthy vocal technique
- Some familiarity with beginner piano and voice curriculum/methods (Alfred, Bastien, Faber, etc.)
- A flexible schedule with availability Thursday from 3 pm – 7:30 pm, Friday from 3 pm – 6:30pm, and Saturday from 10 am -1 pm
- At least one year of teaching experience
- Ability to create a positive, encouraging, and engaging learning environment for students of varying ages and skill levels
- Strong communication skills
Starting pay rate: $48/hr for private/semi-private lessons and $65/hr for group classes (3–6 students)
