Tuition

We are committed to keeping rates aligned with national tuition standards so that we may continue to pay instructors competitive rates. Beginning on January 1st, 2025 we will be increasing tuition by one dollar per class for group classes and on February 1st, 2025 for private lessons.

*A 3.5% processing fee will be included in the price of classes or lessons; you may bring in cash or a check to avoid the fee. Students will be enrolled for a class or lesson when a payment is received.

Group Lessons (3+ students) 

Teen/Adult (55 min) – Tuition: $28/class Processing Fee: 3.5% Total: $28.98/class

Kids Classes:  Ages 7+ (45 min): Tuition: $25/class Processing Fee: 3.5% Total: $25.88/class

Babies – 6 (30 min): Tuition: $22/class Processing Fee: 3.5% Total: $22.77/class

Private Lessons:

**Students may purchase one single trial private lesson when working with a new teacher. A $25 non-refundable registration fee is due at initial sign-up after the trial lesson. Returning Student is a member with one (1) or more months gap between enrollments.

Tuition is a flat monthly fee. Most months have four (4) or five (5) lessons, and on rare occasions, three (3) lessons when in observance of major national holidays. Tuition is due on the first of each month and is billed automatically to your credit or debit card via autopay.
Included in your student registration:
  • Regular weekly lesson time with your teacher, except when the studio is closed for holidays.
  • Two (2) yearly recital performance opportunities at no additional cost (Fall and Spring Student Showcases, on a first come first serve basis. Accompaniments are included in student registration)

15 min (5 years of age): Tuition: $20.50/class Processing Fee: 3.5% Total: $21.51/class

30 min: Tuition: $39/class Processing Fee: 3.5% Total: $40.37/class

45 min: Tuition: $57/class Processing Fee: 3.5% Total: $59.00/class 

60 min: Tuition $74/class Processing Fee: 3.5% Total: $76.60/class

 

Duo Sessions (Two Students):

  • Students must schedule Duo Sessions with the Enrollment Manager by emailing musicschool@frontporchcville.org. They will not be available for self registration online.
  • Duo schedules run alongside our session long group classes (Fall 13 weeks, Winter 15 weeks, May 4 week mini session, summer sessions will be arranged on an individual basis). 
  • You may sign up for a Duo at any time during a session and tuition will be prorated based on join date.
  • No make-up lessons will be issued for canceled or missed lessons by a student. If a teaching artist must cancel a lesson, a monetary credit will be issued.
  • New Duo Session Policies will take effect on September 1st, 2024.
