Adrian Duke
BIO
Adrian Duke is a Virginia-born pianist, vocalist, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist based in Charlottesville. With a professional career spanning more than 38 years, he has built a reputation as a versatile performer, arranger, recording artist, and educator.
A musician from an early age, Adrian studied harpsichord, jazz piano, and arranging at Virginia Commonwealth University, combining formal musical training with the soulful influence of New Orleans piano legends Professor Longhair and Dr. John.
Throughout his career, Adrian has written, performed, and arranged music in a wide variety of settings, with a professional focus on piano and vocals while continuing to play guitar and flute. He has released six albums of original music, licensed songs for film, and performed for Queen Elizabeth II during her 2007 visit to the Virginia State Capitol.
Today, Adrian brings his decades of professional experience to The Front Porch, where he is passionate about mentoring and inspiring the next generation of musicians.
