BIO

Hi! I am Abhi, a freelance pianist with over 10 years of musical experience. Scientist by day, pianist by night, I got my start taking lessons in classical piano, but later came to have a newfound love for music after experimenting with improv and jazz music. I played with my college jazz band, and later went on to play in various independent jazz groups in upstate NY. I am very excited to explore the Charlottesville music scene and help spread the excitement that comes from playing music. My fun fact is that I played music deep in the rainforest of Panama!
