The Music

Timbo
Timbo and Lonesome Country

Born & raised in Music City, Timbo is a 3rd generation musician with strong roots in traditional Country & Bluegrass music. Influenced by his parents, their musician peers, aunts, uncles and grandparents, as he spent his early childhood traveling from gig to gig. He grew up at festivals, broadway bars, his father’s instrument repair shop, backstage at the Opry, & sleeping in the old green rooms while his parents played the late night shows. Timbo’s brand of music has quickly climbed the ranks as one of the finest musicians currently the Country music scene. He showcases his traditional influences-country with rhythm & blues perhaps shining through most prevalent of all. There is a modern feel to his approach; yet his delivery of melody ,unique and timeless.

Rebecca Porter and the Rhinestone Roses

Born in Guam and raised in the Shenandoah Valley, Rebecca Porter blends soulful melodies and fearless lyrics with her honey-smooth voice to create her own brand of Appalachian honky tonk. Her 2023 EP, Queen of the Local, earned national acclaim and led to recognition in Rissi Palmer’s Color Me Country Class of 2024, features on Ed Helms’ Good Country, and a debut on NPR’s Mountain Stage. Known for electrifying live performances, Porter captivates audiences with her emotional intensity and grit. Porter’s personal and raw storytelling continues to push boundaries, projecting a cinematic soundscape that balances traditional country’s rugged spirit with an unapologetic journey of perseverance.

Crossroads of dirty blues, straight-ahead ballads, and hard-swinging jazz

We’ll kick off the evening with the “rock-a-jelly” stylings of Jelly Street Jazz. Merging low-down dirty blues, straight-ahead ballads, and hard-swinging jazz, their energy is something you’ll want to bottle up and bring home with you. They’ll start with Sophie Tucker, hit some viper and jelly tunes on their way to Ella Fitzgerald and Bill Evans, and end up on Chet Atkins’ front porch. Sometimes they steer these influences – marvelously – into one lane. Each performance is a smokin’ hot trip!

The Evening

We’ll be celebrating all we have accomplished since 2015 and raising money to sustain the future of The Front Porch and our community programs through:

  • A country casino room
  • Silent auction (click HERE for preview)
  • Raffles for prizes and concert tickets
  • Custom photo booth
  • And more! Stay tuned for auction items and more information coming soon!

Because this is a fundraiser for The Front Porch, 50% of your ticket purchase is a tax-deductible donation.
