A little bit louder, a little bit cheaper, our group lessons bring energy and fun to learning music.From Scratch Classes:
“From Scratch” Classes are for the rank beginner with ZERO experience. All “From Scratch” classes teach basic skills, get you playing music with others, and are designed to be taken more than once. Choose between guitar, violin, banjo, ukulele, piano or mandolin for beginners.

Beyond Basics Classes:
“Beyond Basics” classes are designed for students who have already taken the From Scratch class, or have the equivalent skills (playing rhythmically, making basic chord changes, and playing basic melodies at a moderate tempo). The goal of Beyond Basics is to prepare you for one of our Learn to Jam or Join a Band classes. Choose between guitar, banjo, mandolin, ukulele, piano or violin, and take Beyond Basics more than once!
Beyond Basics Classes:
“Beyond Basics” classes are designed for students who have already taken the From Scratch class, or have the equivalent skills (playing rhythmically, making basic chord changes, and playing basic melodies at a moderate tempo). The goal of Beyond Basics is to prepare you for one of our Learn to Jam or Join a Band classes. Choose between guitar, banjo, violin, ukulele, piano and mandolin, and take Beyond Basics more than once!
Learn to Jam Classes:
Learn to Jam classes get you playing with other instruments! This is a mixed instrument ensemble class for folks who want to develop the skills to sit in on jam sessions and band classes. You’ll learn standard tunes, how to fit into the dynamics of an ensemble, develop skills for improvisation and taking solos, and practice reading charts and chord changes.

Learn to Jam classes get you playing with other instruments! This is a mixed instrument ensemble class for folks who want to develop the skills to sit in on jam sessions and band classes. Band Classes:
Similar to a true band rehearsal, you’ll be rehearsing a set, including solos, beginning and ending a song, and working in an ensemble. These classes last longer, and work towards an amazing band showcase at the end! Let’s shred!

Check out our Group Voice Classes to start singing with others, using your body as an instrument. You’ll learn about posture, breath control, and how to take care of your voice all while creating beautiful melodies and harmonies with others. Ready to try songwriting? Our Songwriting classes will guide you through the process of crafting songs from beginning to end – and check out our blog post on why ANYONE can write a song! We also have classes to explore music through dance and movement, helping with performance jitters or just getting you up and active to start the day.
