My name is Christopher Hoffman, and I’m a 25 year old drummer and musician living in Rockingham County. Since I was young, I had a passion for music, starting private lessons when I was in elementary school on drum set playing rock. I kept playing through middle and high school, as I discovered jazz music and jazz drumming. I made the decision to pursue music further, studying at JMU, focusing primarily on jazz drum set. I played in marching band, percussion ensemble, both jazz bands, and at bars in downtown Harrisonburg, both as a part of class, and in my free time! I’m also an avid reader, board game enthusiast, and vinyl collector!
