Summer Camp Intern
The Front Porch is currently seeking internship support for our kids music Summer Camps in 2026!
Activities:
If you’re creative, musical, and love working with children, our Sing! Move! Play! Create! camp is the best place to spend your summertime. We’re looking for energetic high school and college age interns to share their love of all things music with our 4–7-year-old campers. Interns assist camp teachers during music activities, lunch and quiet time, and free choice stations. Interns help supervise our campers as we walk to nearby park. Our camp runs weekly from April 6th – August 7th – sign up for weeks as available! Hours for our interns will be Monday thru Friday 8:30am -12:30pm or 11:30am – 3pm. We are looking for two interns per camp week to work in four-hour shifts. Camps are held at our Downtown location and IX Art Park.
Experience:
Strong candidates for our internship program are creative, musical, and have experience working with young children. Current First Aid and CPR training are a plus. Interns will be trained on expected protocols prior to working with us.
Perks:
Interning at The Front Porch is an opportunity to earn a glowing recommendation for college or future job applications. Front Porch interns are mentored by our teaching artists and receive valuable experience in our vibrant music school. Interns will earn a free group class for every week they volunteer (to be redeemed in 2026), in addition to merchandise.
