Free Youth Programs
Exploring Music – Together
The Front Porch works hard to infuse music into all corners of our community, and prioritize opportunities to bring music enrichment to youth who might be marginalized from arts education. To achieve this, we partner with well-established organizations to offer music exploration opportunities, including workshops, sing-a-longs, and “instrument petting zoos.”
Free youth programs are wide-ranging, from one-off workshops or events to a series of free programs.
Partners
We prioritize strategic partnerships with organizations serving students who may face barriers to access music and music education. Our long-term partnerships include:
Jefferson-Madison Regional Library
Public Housing Association of Residents
Albemarle County Post-High Program
… and many more!
We are always open to new partnership opportunities! If you would like to request an instrument petting zoo at an event you’re hosting, visit our page HERE. If you would like to talk more about programming at your organization, please reach out.
