BIO
Music has been an important part of my life since I was a young child. I always had a tune in my head and I would sing it to anyone who would give me an audience. I was 9 when I auditioned for my first choir and have been a member of performing ensembles in different capacities ever since. I am currently a member of The Virginia Consort, a chamber choir located here in Charlottesville. For the last 11 years I have been teaching music in the Charlottesville City Public Schools. The first 3 of those were at Buford Middle School where I taught: choir, piano and a guitar program that I began. And for the last 8 years I have been teaching music to the students at Jackson-Via Elementary.
