BIO
I was lucky to be born into a musical family. My grandfather was a composer/arranger, my mom was an internationally touring folk-singer, and my dad played a mean trumpet. At age 14 I found my mom’s guitar. It opened up a connection to music and songwriting that has shaped me ever since. I have worked with children and families through most of my adult life. I taught Pre-K in Montessori schools, led Music Together classes and Library outreach programs, and was an administrator at a number of child focused non-profits. On and off through the years I have played around Cville and beyond and I am currently working on an album. In my free time I’m often hanging with my daughter and two dogs, reading about tiny houses and homesteading, or out in the woods as far as I can get. I can sometimes be found at Open Mic at the Local, and I am ever more grateful to be part of this generous musical community.
MUSICAL DREAM/FUN FACT
