Isabella Gorman
BIO
Isabella Gorman is a violinist, fiddler, and educator based in Charlottesville, Virginia. A graduate of the New England Conservatory, she has been invited to perform with ensembles including the Philadelphia Orchestra, New World Symphony, Boston Philharmonic Orchestra, and New England Conservatory Philharmonia. As a fiddler, she has toured with Oliver Anthony, performed and recorded as a studio musician, and appeared on radio programs and live broadcasts.
As an educator, Isabella combines classical technique with American folk traditions, drawing from Suzuki, Appalachian and bluegrass fiddle, ear training, improvisation, and contemporary repertoire. She teaches students of all levels, from beginners to advanced players preparing for auditions, orchestras, and performances.
