Description: Calling all guitarists, vocalists, drummers, bassists, keyboardists, and songwriters! This class is designed for 13 to 18-year-olds who would like to be in a band. No experience is necessary, but it may be helpful to have some degree of proficiency. Students will explore playing hits from popular genres of music in a band setting.
Prerequisite: No ensemble or band experience necessary, just a basic degree of proficiency such as being able to play common major and minor chords (G, C, D, F, E, A). For singers-guitarists, it’s helpful if you are already fairly comfortable singing and playing at the same time.
