This class will be held at our Downtown location (221 East Water Street).
Description: This class is open to six participants and will explore the blues and its many forms Including delta blues, Chicago blues, Texas blues and jazz blues. Students should have a working knowledge of chords and scales which pertain to the blues.
Students will also gain experience on instruments they may not be familiar with such as bass drums and keys.
Prerequisite: No ensemble or band experience necessary, just a basic degree of proficiency such as being able to play common major and minor chords (G, C, D, F, E, A). For singers-guitarists, it’s helpful if you are already fairly comfortable singing and playing at the same time.
