“Don’t replace the old with the new” is the Transmitter’s motto. Their old-school sound incorporates rocksteady elements in the style of early Jamaican artists such as Toots and the Maytals, Alton Ellis and The Heptones, which are intermingled with three part vocal harmonies, making their sound danceable and perfect for a festive atmosphere.
