Grateful Dead Ensemble – Chris Leva
April 22 @ 7:00 pm - 7:55 pm
An event every week that begins at 7:00pm on Monday, repeating until June 3, 2019
Description: Experience the beauty and sense of adventure that is the music of The Grateful Dead. Intermediate and up – all string instruments, hand percussion, and accordions welcome. Healthy chord vocabulary helpful due to the rich harmonic content of the Dead’s songs. We will work on the songs, harmonies, improvisation and counterpoint that make this some of America’s most iconic and loved music. Please bring a recording device (a phone is fine), paper, pencil, and a tuner to each class. We are looking for guitarists, fiddlers, mandolin, bass, accordion, harmonica, steel guitar and anything else portable and relatively acoustic-friendly.
