The Front Porch, Charlottesville Jazz Society, Potters Craft Cider and WTJU are thrilled to premier a new curated jazz music video series. The videos feature some of the worlds finest improvising musicians and ensembles and they’re all from Central Virginia.
The Front Porch provided a team of videographers, audio and video editors, and state of the art audio and video recording equipment. The Charlottesville Jazz Society provided funding for the compensation of the musicians. Potters Craft Cider provided the breathtakingly beautiful and historic venue as the location. WTJU will be re-broadcasting the show the following Wednesday, 2/10 at 10 pm.
The first group is the amazing Charles Owens Quartet featuring:
Charles Owens – tenor sax
Daniel Clarke – piano
Andrew Randazzo – bass
Brian Caputo – drums
All involved are so excited to bring you this lovingly crafted work. Stay tuned as this is just the beginning of a series of groups.
