What is the minimum age for students?
Enrollment in private, semi-private, and group lessons is offered to musicians of all abilities, 6 years old and above.
What instruments do you teach?
Our gifted instructors teach a wide range of musical genres on a variety of instruments, including guitar, banjo, cello, fiddle/violin, mandolin, bass, piano, ukulele, drumming, piano, and voice.
Do you rent instruments?
We have a limited number of instruments that we are able to rent to students on a first come, first served basis for $25/ month. For rentals, please call Music & Arts (434)973-2805.
My child missed a lesson—can I schedule a make-up?
Each lesson is important and student attendance is expected every week. In cases of medical duress or family emergencies, we require 24-hour notice in order to schedule a make-up private lesson. Any teacher absences or weather-related cancellations will be rescheduled. All make-up classes will be scheduled at the end of a session.
How do I pay for lessons?
Payment for all lessons and classes lessons is due at the time of registration through our online student registration system.
What if I have an emergency and have to stop lessons mid-session?
In cases of medical or family emergencies, students should notify us immediately and we will work out a suitable plan together.
Whom do I talk to about my bill?

Do you offer financial aid?
